hell-and-paradise.jpg“Life is one great indulgence; death is one great abstinence.” (Satanic Bible pg. 92)

This text comes from the Satanic bible. It’s a very important quote discussing the topic of afterlife. Satanism believes that life is to be lived to the fullest. There is no afterlife when you die. They don’t believe that you should have to base your decisions on fear. They also believe that you should not subject yourself to anything that will kill you. You should stay away from death. Try to stay alive as long as you can. But when you feel you can no longer out run death, then it is your time to let go. Satanism does not have a belief in afterlife. They believe that once you die your soul disappears forever.

“Those who do not serve the true Guru and do not contemplate on the Shabad (Word of God). They cannot comprehend spiritual wisdom; they are like dead bodies in the world. They go through the cycle of 8.4 million reincarnations, and they are ruined through death and rebirth.” (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 88)

“We have to make it pure enough through meditation so that God can merge us back in Him.”

According to the Guru, birth is defined as your soul breaking away from God. Those who want to be delivered from sin have to make the effort to. Sikhism has a strong belief in reincarnation. Reincarnation is like a curse. You want to break away from it but there is only one way. You have to purify your soul from lust, anger, attachment, greed, and ego.

When one lets these things go they become one with God. You have a lifetime to do so. However if you do not purify yourself you are taken through a cycle of reincarnation. According to the Guru, there are 8.4 million species. You will have to go through 8.4 million different species until you purify yourself. It is believed that through death and rebirth your soul becomes ruined. When your soul has been purified you become one with God and you are broken from the cycle of reincarnation.

“It is God who created you, then He provided sustenance for you, then He will cause you to die, then He will give life back to you.” (Quran 30:40)

“Muslim believe in resurrection, the return to life ---- or the reuniting of the body and soul ----- of each person after death. They also believe that all humans will be brought before Allah for judgement.”

Like Christianity, Islam has the same belief in an afterlife. They also have the same belief about god giving us life and death. When Allah gives life back to you he will judge you, also known as judgement day. When you come before Allah he will deicide whether or not you go to paradise or hell. How Allah determines where you go is by weighing your deeds. If your good choices outweighs your bad ones, then you go to Paradise. If your sins outweigh your good choices, then you go to hell.
